BGB proudly focuses on the financial wealth and financial literacy of black women by encouraging a strong foundation through budgeting. Of the estimated $1.5 trillion Black Spending Power by 2021, black women play a pivotal role as consumers, trend setters and brand loyalists, but face a wealth, pay, and investment gap. BGB’S goal is to encourage black women to learn the basics of budgeting and overtime incorporate goal setting, debt management, savings, retirement planning, home ownership, estate planning, etc.
